The Charter Group is pleased to announce the sale of Kilduff Oil Inc, an Ionia, Michigan-based fuel and heating oil distributor. Established over 40 years ago, Kilduff Oil services a loyal customer base of individual, commercial and governmental customers throughout greater Ionia County. Kilduff Oil was acquired by Petersen Oil & Propane, an energy sales and distribution company located in Greenville, Michigan, serving the counties of Montcalm, Ionia, Gratiot and Kent, including near by cities like Belding, Cedar Springs and Ionia with a variety of products including propane, oil & gas and biofuels. Petersen Oil owner, Mike Petersen, enjoyed working with Matt & Joe Kilduff, owners of Kilduff Oil, throughout the acquisition process. According to Mr. Petersen, the Kilduff acquisition came at a time when the company was seeking specifically to expand its fuel delivery territory.  He looks forward to integrating the Kilduff business with his operation and working towards a successful transition with the Kilduff brothers.
