John
Kerschen, Managing Director
John has been with Charter since 1997 and became a
principal of the firm in 2003. He has over 15 years
of financial experience in both commercial banking
and mergers and acquisitions in both the Chicago and
West Michigan markets. John’s ability to combine
his significant banking/financial background with
his strong transaction-management skills has been
instrumental in Charter’s success over the years.
John has been responsible for over 50 successfully
completed transactions during his tenure with Charter.
These transactions have included companies in the
food distribution, industrial supply, manufacturing,
construction products and health care industries.
John has a BA from Michigan State University and an
MBA from DePaul University. He is a past President
of the Board of Trustees of United Memorial Hospital
and a current board member of the Association for
Corporate Growth.
